We are often asked why we have a bull's-eye on our logo.  It is not a bull's-eye.  The double circle over cross hairs is a marking used in sail design.  It is known as the Center of Effort.  The Center of Effort is that point in which all of the forces come together to create the greatest forward movement.

         We liked that idea and adopted it as part of our logo design.  With the CG of The Calumet Group, superimposed on the Center of Effort symbol, we are sending a simple message to our customers: We see ourselves as part of YOUR Center of Effort.
