The Calumet Group has a proud history of providing training and organizational development services to business, industry and the government.  From a fledgling consulting group to a well respected international corporation was quite a journey.

Some highlights of our history include:

1986 - Founded by Dr. Frank A. Cizon and Judith E.A. Perkinson

1988 - Incorporated

1990 - Moved from Illinois to present corporate headquarters in Hammond, Indiana

1991 - Every Manager is a Training Manager published

1992 - Established cooperative association with SWAT Corp

1994 - Judith E.A. Perkinson assumes presidency and total ownership of company  when Dr. Frank A. Cizon retires

1995 - First international contract obtained in Manitoba, Canada

1995 - Established cooperative association with Kaunas Technical University, Lithuania

1996 - Established cooperative association with Acutus Gladwin Industries Consulting Group

1999 - Established cooperative association with ACMS, Inc. Associated Construction Management Services, Inc.

1999 - Certified as Woman Owned Business Enterprise by State of Indiana and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

2000 - Certified Nationally as a Woman's Business Enterprise

2001 - Became a prime contractor of the Department of Defense working in the Republic of South Korea for the United States Eighth Army

2003 - Recertified as a Small Disadvantage Business by U. S. Small Business Administration

2003 - Recertified by the State of Indiana as a Disadvantaged/Woman Business Enterprise (D/WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
