Comprehensive
         This is a four hour class designed to cover the minimum performance requirements for the control of hazardous energy during maintenance or servicing of machines or equipment in order to prevent the unexpected start up or the release of stored energy. All "affected", "authorized" and supervisory employees should have this training.

         Two versions of this program are being offered:
         1. The Basic Course covers the required information from the applicable OSHA Standards.  The Basic Course is recommended for use by customers with multiple sites or larger groups where individual policies, permits, and procedures may vary.
        2. The Basic Course can be customized to address the site's specific needs of the customer's workforce.  The Basic Course will serve as the foundation.  It will then be modified to incorporate the customers existing applicable policies, practices and procedures, specific safety equipment, permits, hazardous materials, PPE, and/or other pertinent information.

Refresher
         This is a two hour refresher course for individuals who have previously taken the four hour Control of Hazardous Energy Comprehensive Training.  OSHA will accept this refresher course as the required annual training for up to two years after the comprehensive training.  This course will not meet the minimum requirements of the comprehensive training if it is the initial training effort.  All "affected", "authorized", and supervisory employees should have this training.

         1. The Basic Refresher Course covers the required information from the applicable OSHA Standards.  The Basic Refresher Course is recommended for use by customers with multiple sites or larger groups where individual policies, permits, and procedures may vary.
         2. Like the comprehensive training, the Basic Refresher Course can be customized to address the site's specific needs of the customer's workforce.  If the Comprehensive training has been customized, we recommend that the refresher training be customized.

Supervisors
         This two hour course designed to provide business owners and supervisors as an overview of what is required to meet the minimum requirements of a Control of Hazardous Energy program.  The course covers the necessary policies and procedures for affixing appropriate lockout/tagout devices to energy devices, and to otherwise disable machines or equipment to prevent the unexpected start up or the release of stored energy to prevent injuries to employees.
