Comprehensive
         This is a four hour course designed to make the employee aware that the hazards of all hazardous chemicals produced or used in the workplace.  This meets the company's requirements under the employee's Right to Know.  Included are hazard recognition, routes of entry, and understanding how to use a Material Safety Data Sheet.  

         Two versions of this program are being offered:
         1. The Basic Course covers the required information from the applicable OSHA Standards.  The Basic Course is recommended for use by customers with multiple sites or larger groups where individual policies, permits, and procedures may vary.
         2. The Basic Course can be customized to address the site's specific needs of the customer's workforce.  The Basic Course will serve as the foundation.  It will then be modified to incorporate the customers existing applicable policies, practices and procedures, specific safety equipment, permits, hazardous materials, PPE, and/or other pertinent information.

Refresher
         This is a two hour refresher course designed to refresh the knowledge gained by the employee in the four hour Hazard Communication Course and build the skill in the uses of MSDS information.  OSHA will accept this refresher course as the required annual training for up to two years after the comprehensive training.  This course will not meet the requirements of the comprehensive training if it is the initial training effort.

         Two versions of this course are being offered:
         1. The Basic Refresher Course covers the required information from the applicable OSHA Standards.  The Basic Refresher Course is recommended for use by customers with multiple sites or larger groups where individual policies, permits, and procedures may vary.
         2. Like the comprehensive training, the Basic Refresher Course can be customized to address the site's specific needs of the customer's workforce.  If the Comprehensive training has been customized, we recommend that the refresher training be customized.

Supervisors
         This two hour course provides business owners and supervisors an overview of what is necessary to establish a Hazard Communication Program.  This includes items such as, the policies, procedures, container labeling, material safety data sheets, training, and hazards of chemicals.  Examples of successful programs will be provided and questions answered.  This class does not satisfy the OSHA annual training requirements.
